Her Belief

Children should never be defined only by what they struggle with.

Behind behaviour there may be communication. Behind anxiety there may be overwhelm. And behind many perceived weaknesses may lie creativity, sensitivity, intuition and extraordinary potential.

01

Her hope is to change the way we speak about neurodivergence — moving away from labels and limitations and towards curiosity, compassion and possibility.

02

Because every child deserves to know that being different does not make them less. Sometimes, it is exactly what makes them extraordinary.

The Mission

Not changing children to fit the world — changing the way the world sees them.

This is the heart of Lee’s work and the mission behind the book: a movement for parents, teachers and therapists who want to understand the way these brains think, learn and experience the world differently.
